Congratulations to Kaitlyn McGoldrick, Preferred Living's FREE Rent Sweepstakes winner!
Kaitlyn grew up in Westerville, Ohio, attended St. Francis DeSales High School, and continued her education at Xavier University. There she studied finance and played soccer. On weekends and holidays when she went home to spend time with her family (and do laundry), Kaitlyn took the Polaris exit off of I-71 and would see Preferred Living's Kenyon Square. "I always thought it looked like a cool place to live," she said. So when Kaitlyn graduated and began working for JP Morgan Chase as a Technology Business Analyst in the Polaris area, she toured, loved, and moved to Kenyon Square. She's been living there for about a year now and likes the other residents, staff, community activities, and amenities. "I get coffee every morning before I go to work!" Kaitlyn says she doesn't enter a lot of contests and that she's never really won anything before, but when she heard about the Preferred Living FREE Rent Sweepstakes she thought she'd take a chance - and it really paid off! "Winning the contest is great because I'll have the opportunity to save a lot more," she says. "And hopefully I can put more money toward paying off my car." And Kaitlyn is planning to upgrade her apartment to a two-bedroom unit at Kenyon Square so she and a friend can move in together. |

The new Preferred Living Room Planner makes it easy to
re-arrange your furniture - without breaking a sweat. To find this great feature, click on the Communities link in the menu on the left, and select your home community. Click the Floorplans link at the top of that page. Look for the Floor Planner links on the right side of that page, and then choose the Planner for your floorplan. The Room Planner window will pop up. Select the room you'd like to work in from the top menu. To choose the furniture you'd like to place into a room, just click on it and it will appear in the middle of your floorplan. To move the furniture, simply drag and drop it. You can change the orientation of the furniture by using the rotating arrows or the "0-90-180-270" boxes in the top right corner. When you're done, you can save and/or print your floorplan, and then start moving your furniture for real. |
