Preferred Living has been developing and managing luxury apartment communities in Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding area since 1996. Our properties include apartments in and near Grandview, Westerville, New Albany, Worthington, and Upper Arlington Neighborhoods.

Our company was founded to provide more than just everyday apartment units. We set out to encourage the Preferred Life in stylish, relaxing and luxurious environments. Sales Agent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides potential residents with information about the community, suite choices, and the guest living experience.
Takes prospective guests on luxury apartment home tours.
Assists with new lease applications and related processes and coordinates the renewal lease process for current residents.
Follows up on current and future guests’ questions and concerns and completes other tasks and projects as assigned while providing the highest level of customer service.
Assists in planning and hosting monthly resident social events.
Helps market and create traffic/leads through social media, business outreach, etc.
Meets assigned sales goals consistently and contributes to the property’s overall success.

Position Requirements:

Driven sales & goal-oriented personality.
The ability to work weekends is an absolute must.

Punchout

Job Description

Preferred Living has been developing and managing upscale rental communities in Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding area since 1996. Our properties also include suites in New Albany, Dublin, Upper Arlington, and Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Our punch-out team members are responsible for ensuring the product is delivered to specification, according to our high-quality standards, and on time. Duties include but are not limited to:

Touch up painting
Light trim carpentry
Caulking
Drywall repairs
Light plumbing
Cosmetic repairs to finished product
General construction clean-up

Maintenance Tech

Maintenance Technician Overview:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc. based on work orders in accordance with company standards.
Oversee maintenance of a Class-A property with the highest level of customer service and detail.
Review property daily for issues to be addressed.
Maintain grounds and pools.
Maintain contact with vendors that work regularly on property to ensure the vendors are completing tasks to standard.
Turn units in accordance with company quality standards.
Provide an elevated customer service experience for our Residents.
Handle emergency service calls on a rotational basis (on-call weeks are once every 6–8 weeks).
Ensure maintenance work areas on property are organized, stocked, and items are easily located.
Techs are eligible for a $200 monthly performance bonus.
Competitive on-call pay and mileage reimbursement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three or more years' experience in a Maintenance Technician position.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with drywall repair and paint touch ups.
Experience with minor electrical issues.
Experience with plumbing.
Experience with troubleshooting appliance issues.
Experience maintaining swimming pools.
One or more years’ experience with HVAC and EPA certification required.
Ability to accurately troubleshoot and repair HVAC issues.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude who prides themselves in a fast-paced environment while producing quality work.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
