Hosting a summer party? Try these quick and easy ideas for an after-dinner treat your guests will love!

Pound Cake Parfaits
This dessert just takes cubed, store-bought pound cake; fresh fruits of your choice (washed and sliced); vanilla ice cream; and cinnamon. Heat your oven to 375 degrees, spread crouton-sized pound cake cubes on a baking sheet, sprinkle with cinnamon, and toast for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and alternately layer with ice cream and fresh fruit in tall glasses. Sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon and serve.

Sandwich Cookie Pops
Who doesn’t have a package of Oreos or Nutter Butters around? For this quick recipe, all you need are sandwich cookies; 1 ½ cups of semisweet chocolate chips; a double boiler; edible decorations, like sprinkles, peppermint pieces, or crushed pretzels; and lollipop sticks. Just insert a lollipop stick into the cream filling of each cookie, melt down the chocolate chips using your double boiler, dip the cookie pops into the melted chocolate (coating thoroughly), and sprinkle on your favorite toppings. Let the pops stand until firmly set, or place them in the freezer for a frozen treat!
