If you like good pickin' and tight vocal harmonies, check out the area's premier bluegrass festival. It's called Musicians Against Childhood Cancer, or MACC. The four-day event runs from July 20th through the 23rd at Hoover Y-Park in nearby Lockbourne, Ohio.
All the proceeds from the festival benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. Some of the top names in bluegrass will be on hand, and all of them will be donating their time and talent in support of the cause.
This year's MACC will feature Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, The Grascals, J.D. Crowe, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Ronnie Bowman, The Steeldrivers, and many other great acts. Come for just a day or camp out all four. Click here to visit the MACC website.
