Looking for something different in a restaurant? Head to the Tea Zone. This interesting bakery/cafe/restaurant/tea shop is just a short walk away from Taylor House near Gallo's Tap Room and Micro Center. The owners are a Korean couple who settled in the Columbus area and opened the Tea Zone in 2007. The varied menu features delicious Korean foods, baked goods and beverages, including a variety of the popular bubble teas.

The Tea Zone features high quality green teas from China, Japan and Korea as well as popular oriental teas including oolong, ginseng, pu-er, jasmine and chrysanthemum. Choose from more than 20 varieties of bubbles teas, smoothies, fresh fruit juice, or bingsoo, a shaved ice specialty. Korean foods on the Lunch Box menu include bibimbob, bulgogi, spicy seafood or chicken, and three varieties of teriyaki. Or enjoy Asian favorites such as ramen or udon, a Japanese noodle dish.

For bakery lovers, there are plenty of sweet and savory specialties from a sweet rice donut to bean paste breads in three varieties. Try the Piggy in the Bread, corn cheese bread or chestnut filling bread for something different. And to make your selection even more delicious, on Wednesdays, you'll receive a 20% discount on your bread purchase when you show your Taylor House key fob.

So take your tummy on a trip to Korea the next time you're hungry for something new and delicious. Visit the Tea Zone at 5025 Olentangy Road Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.
