Members of the Preferred Living team took part in the 25th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure in downtown Columbus on Saturday, May 20. This is the largest Race of a Cure in the country and more than 25,000 people participated in the event this year.
In all, the event raised $1.5 million and counting for breast cancer research.
The 5K walk/run started at the corner of N. Front Street and Elm Street. They then made their way through downtown, going through the North Market, North Bank Park, Bicentennial Riverfront Park and other sections of town before ending next to Columbus Commons.
