Maintenance Technician Overview:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc. based on work orders in accordance with company standards.
  • Oversee maintenance of a Class-A property with the highest level of customer service and detail.
  • Review property daily for issues to be addressed.
  • Maintain grounds and pools.
  • Maintain contact with vendors that work regularly on property maintaining units or property to ensure the vendors are completing tasks to standard.
  • Turn units in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Provide an elevated customer service experience for our Residents.
  • Handle emergency service calls on a rotational basis (on-call weeks are once every 6-8 weeks)
  • Ensure maintenance work areas on property are organized, stocked, and items are easily located.
  • Techs are eligible for a $200 monthly performance bonus.
  • Competitive on-call pay and mileage reimbursement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three or more years' experience in a Maintenance Technician position
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with drywall repair and paint touch ups
  • Experience with minor electrical issues
  • Experience with plumbing
  • Experience with troubleshooting appliance issues
  • Experience maintaining swimming pools
  • One or more years’ experience with HVAC and EPA certification required
  • Ability to accurately troubleshoot and repair HVAC issues
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude who prides themselves in a fast-paced environment while producing quality work.

 

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
