My roommate and I LOVE Madison Park. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment we live in is complete with updated kitchen appliances and an amazing laundry room. Our balcony is quaint and adorable. The paint on the apartment walls is flawless and we get compliments from every guest that comes over. Mail and trash are conveniently located and the membership to the Sawmill gym is clutch. So happy we live here!
I live at Madison Park and I love it! I live in a spacious one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a large living room, a balcony, a large kitchen. My apartment has new appliances including a washer and dryer in my unit. I have not had any issues with my apartment and any time I have needed assistance the Madison Park team has responded instantly to my requests. I have never been disturbed by neighbors apartments and the area is safe. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to others whether you are a single person or a couple people looking to live in a lovely, spacious apartment!
Chris is an expert when it comes to Preferred Living communities, considering he's lived in three of our properties in the last few years. "A city like Columbus has countless options for housing, but honestly none compare to the communities of Preferred Living. The combination of price, amenities, and sense of community are unmatched by anyone else," said Chris.
His favorite Preferred Living residence so far is the Berkley House community. Complete with scenic views of the Scioto River, Berkley House offers a variety of comforts – starting in the lobby. "Imagine starting your day with a freshly brewed (and free!) Starbucks coffee as you sit in the contemporary décor of the lobby with a log fire place burning in the winter as you catch up on Sportscenter on one of the 6 TVs at the bar," Chris said of the residence. "Bored throughout the day? Enjoy a game of pool or some classic games in the arcade."
Chris suggests you spend your seasons with the variety of amenities that Berkley House offers. "Summer downtime? How about a dip in a pool that many resorts can't even compete with? Want to shed that winter fluff? There's a full gym on site," he said.
As always, the staff at Preferred Living residences like to go above and beyond. Here's what Chris had to say about the staff at Berkley House, "They are some of the most helpful, upbeat, and friendly that I've ever encountered. The list goes on and on, but don't take my word for it, find out for yourself!"
After she experienced our contagious excitement during her community tour, Brianna moved into Madison Park in May of 2015.
"There are a lot of young professionals at Madison Park, so I'm very comfortable here," said Brianna, who works with special needs children and is pursuing a master's degree. "All the tenants are very respectful. "There's no loud music late at night," which she says is a welcome change from other apartment communities she's lived in.
"But it's not boring," she said. "The staff here, who are super friendly and helpful, are always planning something for the residents." Past events have included wine and cheese nights, game nights and ice cream socials. "They even had ice cream for Marley and the other dogs!" she noted, speaking of her lab-mix puppy and the other dogs in the neighborhood.
One thing Brianna noted is that "you get what you pay for" here at Madison Park. "All the finishes are really top-notch, and we have a free membership to the Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club, which actually saves us money."
Brianna and her boyfriend are planning to buy a house together in the next few years, but in the meantime "Madison Park feels like home."
We're glad to hear it.
Kali is obsessed with her brand new Taylor House suite. It's got a huge floor plan with a beautiful kitchen and all new appliances. "And there's a washer and dryer IN MY SUITE," she said. Because, seriously, nothing makes you feel more grown up that having your own washer and dryer.
Taylor House is pet-friendly, too, so there are always cute dogs around. And the staff is amazing, says Kali. "When we moved in, the elevator was temporarily out of order. Cory, the manager, and his team helped us haul everything to the fourth floor, and even let us store a particularly heavy piece of furniture on the first floor until the elevator was functional. Then, Cory and another staffer loaded into the elevator and hefted it all the way into my suite for me."
Plus, Taylor House is located close to 315, and there are all sorts of dining and shopping opportunities right in the neighborhood. "I love it here!" said Kali.
Scarlet and her husband moved into Taylor House about six months ago. She says one of the best things about Taylor House is the location – it’s close to restaurants, shopping and transportation.
They also love the on-trend design and lifestyle amenities Taylor House offers. Their morning routine includes FREE Starbucks coffee, and they often have friends over to play pool and watch movies in the common area. Scarlet and her husband also enjoy the swimming and tanning at the court yard.
But they say their favorite things about living at Taylor house is the hospitality of the staff. “Everyone’s so kind and helpful,” said Scarlet. “And the activities they organize every month really make us feel like we live close-knit community.
